Aloha,
Thank you for the use of new condo. We did see Santa early Christmas
morning
in his golf cart. We were fortunate to see whales, sea turtles & the
elusive Hawaiian
chicken. It snowed on Mauna Kea & Mauna Loa. We 4WD Mana Road 45 miles
around the
north east side of Mauna Kea & back in Waipio Valley too. We did not
play golf, but it
seems everybody else did. We are now off to Kapoho in search of flowing
lava.
Happy New Year,

Your condo was absolutely wonderful. Even better than we expected. A
good time was had by all.
This is our 7th visit to the "Big Island" and probably our best. We will
definitely be back. Thanks for making such a nice home away from home.

We had a wonderful 2 months in your lovely condo on our quest to escape
Lake Tahoe snow. Thanks to your nice golf clubs & TeeTimesHawaii.com We
enjoyed playing Mauna Kea, Hapuna, Big Island C.C. and of course, here at
the Beach Club. We replaced all of our lost balls with late afternoon walks
out the backdoor. Lots of balls in those woods (some were ours, too).
Our favorites restaurant-wise were as on previous visits Canoe House and
Merrimans. New favorites includes include Cafe Pesto, Oodles of Noodles,
Izakayakai, and Tex Drive in for burgers & malasadas.
We went fishing when friends were here on the Seastrike with Capt. Dale
Le Verone. We briefly hooked up with a blue marlin and our friend Steve
caught a spearfish - a small (35 lb)
bill fish. We enjoyed having it grilled & sauteed for tacos.
A worthwhile trip was to Hakalua Preserve on a Hawaii Forest & Trail
birding adventure. Our knowledgable guide, Gerry, told us all about trees,
geology, island legends & history as well as birds. We did see lots of
birds although it rained all day - but, hey, it is a rain forest. Our
favorites were were the plentiful Iweis (red with black wings & curved
beaks).
We also enjoyed visiting the Farmer's Market in Kona and the Mamane St
Bakery & Cafe in Honoka'a. Great portugese sweet bread! Our best memory:
a 20 yr storm that brought about 10 inches of rain in 2 days and snow levels
on Mauna Kea to about 7000 ft - spectacular!

We enjoyed every minute of our 2 weeks on the Big Island. Your condo is
beautiful and was a great place to wake up in & to relax in the
evenings. Our days were spent checking out as many beaches as possible and
revisting our favorites. This is an amazing place - we will come back.
Our favorite beaches were Hapuna, Mauna Kea, Anaeho'omalu, Kiholo, Kubio
in Kohala, and Kahulu'u & Kealeakakua in Konai. We also loved watching
the sunsets off Anaeho'omalu Beach after a short walk from the condo.
Your place is beautifully decorated. Everything here was perfect. We
came here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and it was our most
perfect vacation ever.
We want to thank you for your hospitality in making this place so
special.

Aloha Helene,
We had a wonderful trip to Hawaii. Your condo was perfect. We felt at
home
and very comfortable there. The location is great, plenty of
activities
that are close and not far from other places for sight-seeing. Bill
golfed
four times and I joined him twice. We took his parents to many
beautiful
places and the condo was good because they could also relax there when
they
were tired from the road trips. Much better than a hotel room. We did
cook
at the condo for about half our meals and found the kitchen
well-stocked
with dishes, utensils and pots and pans.
It was difficult to leave and we arrived back in Indiana to single
digit
temperatures during the day, below zero at night, and 6 inches of snow
on
Tuesday.
Mahalo,
Paula

The minute we walked in to your condo we loved it! Thank
you for having us in your comfortable, beautifully decorated
condo. The last time we were on this island was 3 years ago.
Since then our son has learned to hit some golf balls. So
we took
advantage of your card and enjoyed (struggled too over the
water hazards!) playing on the beautiful courses.
We loved
our stay here - thank you very much!

We loved the condo and loved our vacation here in
Hawaii! Thanks for such a wonderful place. The week went
by much too fast. Some of our favorite activities included
hiking the volcanoes (got to see lots of real lava flow!
Wow! Hot!); going to the top of Mauna Kea (it was breathtaking
- like another world up there - and such a sunset); taking
a 4-wheel drive tour of Waipio Valley...and of course we
also enjoyed relaxing at the place here, pool and hottub.
Lots of walks around Waikoloa!..
Thanks so much!

Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your lovely condo.
The accomodations were first rate and the decor warm & charming
with the perfect amount of "aloha" spirit. Trip
highlights were swimming with the turtles in Kiholo Bay,
the volcano, and body surfing at Kua Bay. We loved the Big
Island and are looking forward to visiting again.
Most Sincerely,

What a beautiful island. We loved exploring the little towns, just didn't have enough time. We look forward to doing the things we couldn't and repeating the sights we did. We heard the walk from Weimea into Waipio Valley was breathtaking. You're going to love living here.
ps. I walked into the model here at Fairway Villas. Your decor is much nicer!

Mahalo! Thank you for making your lovely home available on such short notice.
Margaret and I could not have enjoyed it if it had not been for your kindness. We
have never stayed anywhere that was as well provisioned. Everything we needed
was right here when we needed it. We will rave about this place to our friends and
family for a long time. Thank you again, we had a WONDERFUL!! time.
Best wishes, you are in our heart.

What a beautiful place - and you are right, equally (if not better than) your other hideaway in Maui.
Although it's so not fair to compare one piece of paradise verses the other! We will be back and thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home.

Being both Virgos, Scott and I enjoy the research & prep for a trip almost as much as the trip. When we walked through the door we knew our homework had paid off. What a lovely, relaxing, and spotless place to call home for a few days! Of course we had to check out all the places we didn't choose and we're so happy we didn't. Highlights in the Kohala area include...(and thanks for The Big Island Revealed - it's a great book!) Brunch at the Mauna Kea then waddling fat as pigs down to the amazing beach for a snooze under a tree then snorkeling with turtles and general beach frolic. Sunset margaritas at the Beach Tree Bar at the Four Seasons. The staff there was amazing...

I have a few things to add to Robert's comments. Your place is spectacular - in a world
of bland condos with cheap furnishings, this condo manages to be both super - comfortable
and incredibly stylish. I love the location, such a short walk to A-Bay, and the infinity pool/hottub is great. We absolutely loved this place. Beach 69 was our favorite overall beach - incredible sand, great swimming, secluded but not a difficult hike to reach, etc. And so close to here! The beach at Mauna Kea was fantastic - lovely sand & surf (we spent the day there after a delicious Sunday brunch at the resort) and great snorkeling on the north side of the beach. I had a few close encounters of the sea turtle kind, right out of "Finding Nemo". We also went to Hapuna Beach, which was a blast for body surfing.
Thanks again for providing such a great home base on the Kohala Coast. We hope to return soon and we'll be very jealous every time you escape the Bay Area to one of your Pied-a-terre's in Hawaii.
