As
our guests in The Fairway Villas, you’ll enjoy preferential
rates on both of Waikoloa Beach Resort’s championship
golf courses. The Kings’ Course was created by Tom Weiskopf
and Jay Morrish as a challenging Scottish-links style course
for purists with low handicaps. The more forgiving Beach Course
was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. for golfers seeking
an oceanfront golfing experience with scenic lakes and ancient
lava features which come into play. Nestled between stark
lava fields and the sparkling Pacific, these fairways are
among the most picturesque in Hawaii.
Waikoloa Beach Resort is a world-class tropical playground,
and you will be staying right in the middle of it. The nearby
white sand beach of Anaeho’omalu Bay gives you full
access to every sun-drenched aqua-activity known to man, from
snorkeling, swimming, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing, to
helicopter rides and sunset cruises, with an activity booth
at the beach to help plan your vacation activities. There
are legendary Hawaiian fishing grounds at your doorstep, this
area is known as the Bullfish Capital of the world.
Swim or lounge at The Fairway Villas beautiful Infinity edge
pool overlooking the 9th hole and King’s Lake and Shops
or soak yourself in the soothing hot bubbles of the raised
rock Spa. Immerse yourself in luxury
at either of two nearby resort spas. Both offer a host of healing arts,
cosmetic treatments, massage therapies and rejuvination techniques.
Life in the resort has much, much more to offer. There are
also superb restaurants with gourmet cuisine. The Kings’ Shops
are only a short lakeside stroll from the condo and offers
everything from Starbucks to Louis Vuitton, to fine
dining with a myriad of other shops, boutiques, galleries
and entertainment venues to entice you away from your hammock
on the beach.
Your vacation on the Big Island wouldn’t be complete
without a visit to phenomenal Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
- a huge preserve that contains two active volcanoes and
terrain
ranging from tropical beaches, rain forests and fern groves,
to the subarctic Mauna Loa summit. The centerpiece of the
park is Kilauea Caldera, the sunken center of Kilauea Volcano,
the youngest and most active volcano on earth. You can hike
to the active lava flow at the end of Chain of Craters Road
and watch in amazement as the lava oozes along creating new
earth before you. The activities of the Big Island are endless.
